FAQ for students regarding the Rapture. Q: With the rapture coming, should I bother working on my final paper?

How are you preparing for/celebrating the Rapture? Got any special plans for the day after? Sunday is Harvey Milk Day. I plan to continue being queer, and I'll probably watch the movie Milk again. If I had a copy of the movie The Rapture (Mimi Rogers and David Duchovny), I'd watch that too.

I'm happy; I have temp work! It's in a cubicle and everything. That makes me very happy. Unfortunately, I'm also coping with a catastrophic failure of fundamentalism, or at least of fundamentalists. But all I can do is pray.

A Diagnosis from the Vet

Now we know why Gabriel has been cranky, losing weight, and getting scruffier. She's hyperthyroid. Two pills per day from now on. I hope I can get her to take them in those little pill/snack thingies, or I'm going to have gouges to the bone.
