ActiveX Techie Question
Mar. 10th, 2003 11:21 amSo why does ActiveX freak out my browser at work but not the one at home? I use IE both places. I have moderate security set both places. I use Netscape 4 at work, Windows XP Professional at home. But at work, the bloody ActiveX warning screen comes up all the time:
I run into this with every single e-mail on Yahoo.
Weirdly, I can pick up AOL email from the web on my work computer, but not on the one at home. (In fact, I can't run AOL at all at home.) Any reason for that? Any way to fix it?
Thanks.
This page displays potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX Control. Your current security settings prohibit running controls in this manner. As a result, this page may not display correctly.

Perhaps your work has locked down your security policies
